The NANO Mission
"Scientists spend 70% of their time asking for money to test their ideas. Even so, many ideas that could make drastic improvements to human health are seen as too risky to fund through conventional mechanisms. In just one example, my advisor submitted the same grant every year for 10 years in a row until it was finally funded. It took 10 years for others to see the idea was worth pursuing. That is a decade of progress lost.
NANO Hydration+ was founded because we cannot wait 10 years to test ideas that could have dramatic impacts today. My vision is to utilize the principles of chemical engineering and nanoscience for two aims:
1) create products that improve human health and performance, and
2) create a source of funding to carry out biomedical research that is too novel or unconventional for existing grant mechanisms.
Advances in treatment for cancer, genetic diseases, and autoimmune conditions cannot wait. Join me in creating a world where we don't have to wait a decade to try what we know to do today."
